Dwarf Fortress is off and running on some very early success of it’s launch on Steam, and within it’s first 24 hours of it’s arrival on Steam the Bay 12 Games’ title, which started back in 2006, broke it’s two month sales goal.

According to PC Gamer, within 24 hours the game sold over 160,000 copies, which was the predicted goal of the game for a two-month period.

The game finally arrived after spending around 16 years as a free download on the Bay 12 official website.
